Prices for the Defender 130 versions from Land Rover start at Rs. 1.31 crore in India. The longest iteration of the SUV is offered with two engine options and two variants: HSE and X.

Land Rover Defender 130 variant and price:

Land Rover Defender 130 Petrol HSE: Rs 1.30 crore

Land Rover Defender 130 Petrol X: Rs 1.41 crore

Land Rover Defender 130 Diesel HSE: Rs 1.30 crore

Land Rover Defender 130 Diesel X: Rs 1.41 crore

The Defender 130 is the Defender 110's expanded variant. The overall length has increased by 340 mm even if the wheelbase has remained the same. This has made room for a third row of chairs possible. With all three rows up, the increased overhang also frees up space in the boot, which now has a capacity of 389 litres. When the third and second rows are folded down, the boot space increases to 1,232 litres and 2,291 litres, respectively.

Under the hood, the new Land Rover Defender 130 is offered with 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, petrol and diesel engines. A 3.0-litre mild-hybrid turbocharged petrol engine with 395PS and 550 Nm powers the Land Rover Defender 130. The diesel engine produces 296PS and 600 Nm of torque.

Similarly, the main dashboard layout and style is identical to that of the 110. However, the touchscreen device, which is a bigger 11.4-inch unit, gets bitten by the size extension. The 130 maintains its bespoke nature by offering interior colour and trim options that are unique to it.

The third row of seats, though, is unquestionably the highlight. Land Rover has also included seat ventilation for all three rows of seats, as well as optional four-zone climate control and air suspension for a smoother ride.
