The entry-level supersport from Kawasaki, the Ninja 300, has returned after going off the shelves in 2019. Kawasaki has launched the Ninja 300 in BSIV guise at Rs 3.18 lakh, making it Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000 more premium than its predecessor. The motorcycle has not received any update in the mechanicals and is available in three colour options, Lime green, Candy Lime green type 3 and Ebony. Kawasaki India dealerships around the country have already started accepting bookings for the same and the deliveries are expected to commence shortly.

Powering the Ninja 300BSVI is the fuel-injected 296cc parallel-twin engine that makes 39PS at 11,000rpm and generates 26.1 Nm at 10,000rpm. These numbers are identical to the BSIV model. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch for effortless shifts. Underpinning the motorcycle is a diamond frame that features high-tensile steel components which offer high strength and high durability. The Ninja 300 BSVI features a 37 mm telescopic fork with 120mm travel in the front and a 5-way pre-load adjustable mono-shock in the rear with 132mm of travel. It is shod with 110/70 R17 (F) and 140/70 R17(R) tyres. Braking duties are done by 290mm(F) and 220mm(R) petal discs.

While the features list remains unchanged, Kawasaki has brought in new body graphics to make the BSVI avatar look distinct compared to its predecessor. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 BSVI will compete with the likes of the KTM RC 390 and the TVS Apache RR 310.
