Indian EV manufacturer BGauss inaugurates first dealership, commences deliveries of A2 and B8

BGauss, the new entrant in the two-wheeler electric vehicle space, has inaugurated its first dealership in the country with the opening of its flagship store in Mumbai. This dealership is located at Sant Krupa, Plot No.199/A, Dr. Ambedkar Road, Opp, Patwardhan Hospital, Old Panvel. Presently, the A2 and B8 electric scooters are being sold through this dealership. The company has confirmed that it has commenced deliveries of the scooters that were pre-booked online earlier this year. The A2 and B8 electric scooters are available in five variants and are priced between Rs 50,000 to Rs 90,000, ex-showroom.

Commenting on the occasion,  Hemant Kabra, Director, RR Global & Founder and Managing Director, BGAUSS said, "We are proud to bring our first-ever BGAUSS dealership to the lively and tech-savvy Navi Mumbai. Our dealership is designed as a new-age interactive urban space giving customers first-hand experience of both the B8 and A2 models and its five variants. We truly believe that electric mobility will define the future of transport and our partnership with Mr. Rughved Kandpille is a step towards making our electric scooters easily accessible and available to prospect customers in Navi Mumbai."

BGauss is offering annual maintenance, extended warranty, pick and drop service and 24x7 road side assistance. The company will also offer attractive financing options from MoneyTap on affordable interest rates and longer repayment tenures up to 36 months with 0 per cent interest EMI as a part of the launch scheme.

Both these offerings A2 and B8 are being manufactured at the company's Chakan facility in Pune. Collectively, there will be five variants depending on the type of battery chosen on the scooter. The brand will be investing a total of Rs 125 crore over the next three years. Fluid design, low maintenance, great power, fast charging, IOT and more will be some of the highlights. The flagship offering, B8, comes with a 1,900W hub-mounted electric motor that can be specced with either a fixed lead acid battery or removable options of lithium-ion or Li-tech battery. The minimum charging time, as claimed, is three hours while the maximum is seven to eight hours that is expected to deliver a range of 70-78km.
