Aston Martin Valour debuts to celebrate 110 years of the brand
Aston Martin has introduced a new supercar that is primarily influenced by the one-of-a-kind Victor. To commemorate its 110th anniversary, Aston Martin has unveiled the Valour, an all-new, limited edition monster. The new automobile will be produced in a limited quantity of 110 units.
Aston Martin Valour: Drivetrain
The Valour is powered by a 5.2 litre, twin-turbo V12 engine that produces an eye-watering 715PS and 753Nm of torque. Instead of a sophisticated automatic transmission, Aston Martin has gone back in time and given this a custom 6-speed manual transmission with one of the most satisfying-looking shifters available.
The Valour has a mechanical limited-slip differential, as well as electronic traction and stability control systems, to assist get all that power onto the road. When it comes to stopping, the new vehicle has carbon ceramic brakes with 16-inch discs up front and 14-inch rotors at the back.
The car also gets adjustable dampers and a new power steering setup designed to deliver more granular feedback through the steering wheel.
Aston Martin Valour: Design
The Valour retains much of the 'headbutt-to-the-face' attitude pioneered by the Victor in 2020, with a few adjustments for the 2023 design. The 'horseshoe' bonnet is there and accurate, as are the NACA ducts that feed air into the V12 intakes. The redesigned grille, circular LED headlights, 'prominent' splitter, and broad arches that flow into that 'upswept Kamm tail' and diffuser are all noticeable.
The back of the automobile has a lighting arrangement reminiscent of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, as well as a polished aluminium accent that spans the width of the vehicle. Back here, a large diffuser aids in downforce, and a triple tailpipe exhaust system blasts that V12 engine tone to the public.
Aston Martin Valour: Interior
The manual transmission lever, of course, dominates the cabin. It's a straightforward arrangement - a wheel, a lever, some pedals, seats, a row of controls, a screen, and a mix of tweed and carbon fibre to represent the numerous worlds from which the Valour draws inspiration. Of course, Aston Martin's Q division can gladly tailor your Valour to your exact specifications.
The Valour will be manufactured in the company's Gaydon, U.K., headquarters in the third quarter of this year, with first deliveries scheduled in the fourth quarter. Only 110 cars will be produced worldwide, representing the number of years Aston Martin has been in operation.
