2023 Tata Safari, Harrier get new features

After launching the new Red Dark Edition of the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari, Tata standard Safari and Harrier have also been updated with new features, such as a new infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, and more. With this, prices of select variants of both SUVs have also been increased, while a handful of variants, including special-edition versions, are no longer available.

2023 Tata Safari and Harrier: New Features

The highlight of the 2023 Safari and Harrier is the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The ADAS features consist of autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, rear collision warning, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, lane change alert, blind spot detection, and door open alert. Additionally, the updated SUVs come equipped with a 360-degree camera.

Furthermore, the 2023 Safari and Harrier boast a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a seven-inch fully digital TFT instrument cluster. The duo also features a six-way power adjustable driver seat with a welcome function and a three-level memory setting.

2023 Tata Safari and Harrier: Powertrain

The updated 2023 Safari and Harrier are powered by the RDE (BS6 stage-II) compliant 1,956cc, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine producing 170PS and 350Nm of torque. This motor comes paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. The Harrier gives out a fuel efficiency of 16.35kmpl with MT and 14.6kmpl with AT, while the Safari has a mileage of 16.14kmpl with MT and 14.08kmpl with AT.
